Looking at the amp requirements or take from a CS220...
The 220 draws up to 500W so Power (in Watts) = volts x current (in Amps). In the UK that would be I (in amps) = P (in Watts) divided by V(volts). So 500/240 = 2.0833333 amps.
From the current Nimble Storage Hardware Guide:
• CS210: 450W
• CS200 series: 500W
• CS400 series: 550W
• ES series: 400W
• Steady state: 5A @ 120V
• Startup: 6A @ 120V
Caution: Startup current draw may exceed that 6A.
Just for completeness
The CS700 is 650 watts
All-Flash shelf is 200 watts
Remember for your Amps - your voltage may vary based on which country your in
My background many years ago was in Radar and guidance systems so basic electricity and electronics are my Forte.
No argumements from me but excepting the initial power on I believe my reply was a correct answer else Ohms law law is a pile of Pooh
